Manchester City's first every UEFA Champions League quarter-final went rather well for Manuel Pellegrini's men as they left Paris with two away goals and no deficit after playing out an utterly bizarre 2-2 draw.
There were mistakes and moments of madness throughout, but none were bigger than that of Fernando who absolutely gifted a goal to Zlatan Ibrahimovic not too long after the big Swede had missed a chance to draw level from the penalty spot.
The man who saved that penalty was speaking to BT Sport after the match, and he was asked directly what the hell had happened. We've got to admit we enjoyed Joe Hart's response.
Eh.. I don't know.
I've given Fernando the ball, he obviously thought there was an option to pass inside, and the big man put his size 15's on it and in it went.
Fair enough.
We're not so sure it was a great performance, to be honest, as both teams did not show the quality that they have shown at times this season (PSG more regularly than City, obviously) but it is an excellent result for the English side and they now have a very good chance of making the semi-finals.
