Leicester's charge towards the Premier League title continues unabated following a 2-0 win against Sunderland. This would have been much more different had Fabio Borini respond to a glorious chance by producing a microcosm of his career.
Unmarked, twelve yards out, just left of the penalty spot, Fabio had the chance to make the Premier League title race interesting while giving his Sunderland team a huge fillip in their bid to beat the drop. Sadly, as his wont, he spurned a glorious chance. Rather than hit the target, he sliced it and managed to larrup the ball into his own face.
Was in the kitchen and just heard the commentator say 'BORINI! Oh he's hit himself in the face.'

If there is one passage of play in the 18 yard box that sums Fabio Borini up it was that.

Hopeless. Borini hitting himself in the face, Rodwell being Rodwell, sums up the shower of shite we watch each week #relegated

And Fabio Borini manages to kick the ball, from the ground, into his own face. Season in a nutshell, there #SAFCvLCFC

'Borini! Oh he hit himself in the face'
That quotes pretty much sums him up doesn't it?— Shane O Leary (@shaneoleary1) April 10, 2016
Poor Borini. This is the worst thing he has done since he shared a picture online of the lingerie he bought for his sister.
