Yaya Toure has been left out of Manchester City's squad for the upcoming Champions League according to Bleacher Report.
Pep Guardiola and Yaya Toure have history from their time together at Barcelona. Pep sold the 33-year old back in 2010 and speculation surrounding the relationship between the two has been rife since it was announced that Guardiola would be joining City.
The Ivorian has not played a single minute in the league yet this season for Manchester City as he was left out of all three games thus far. If this latest ommission is anything to go by, it seems that Yaya will not be a part of the Guardiola revolution in Manchester.

Toure had been instrumental in the success at Manchester City over the last few years, winning the Premier League with them in 2012. In the wake of the departures of Samir Nasri and Joe Hart, it seems that Toure is set to become yet another casualty within the old guard. Shame the window just shut, could have go a few quid for him.
Perhaps adding insult to injury, Fabien Delph has been included in the squad alongside new signings Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan. Vincent Konpany also made the cut as he returns from injury.
