Yaya Toure has said that he will hold talks with Brendan Rodgers regarding a possible move to Celtic.
Toure is a free agent after having his contract with Olympiacos terminated by mutual agreement last month. He spent just three months at the Greek side, making only four appearances in what was his second stint at the club.
The 35-year-old's older brother Kolo is an assistant to Rodgers at Parkhead.
"Kolo is asking!" said Toure on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football.
Celtic is a great team but let me speak with Brendan, we will see.
Maybe Kolo is arranging something for me but let's see.
To be honest I've been playing in the Premier League, it's the league where for me it's been the most enjoyable.
But we never know, maybe I could end up in Scotland or maybe in England, or maybe in France.
I want the choice to enjoy maybe one more year at a high level.
The midfielder was initially linked with a move to Celtic by a report in the Greek media.
