As we approach the start of another Premier League season, some very high profile players are entering the last year of their contracts.
Of course, many of these players will agree new deals during the season, but for now this list doubles as a Football Manager 17 hitlist of players that you can sign on a bosman in the January transfer window.
With time running down on their deals, it will be interesting to see which of the following players remain with their clubs beyond the current season. The likes of Yaya Toure, Santi Cazorla, Darren Fletcher, Laurent Koscielny, and Antonio Valencia all still play important roles where they currently are, but only time will tell if they get offered a new deal.
Before we list every player who will be out of contract at the end of the 16/17 season, we decided to make an XI to see how it would look, and it turned out really strong.
