The record for world's longest game was broken over the weekend at Stretford High School in Manchester, with participants raising money in aid of Francis House Children's Hospice.

36 players took part in a 72 hour game which finished 603-432, with the losing side missing out by a mere 141 goals. Players played for five hours at a time resting in tents between shifts, beating the previous record of 62 hours.

There was also five minutes obligatory Fergie Time added on. You can still donate by clicking here.
