Slate.com have put in some truly ground-breaking analysis of the awkward/hilarious/bizarre arm folding animation that players at the 2014 World Cup are struggling to get to grips with.
Through careful deliberation they have concluded that the best and most successful arm fold has come from Cameroon left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto, who's charming smile, immaculate folding technique, and perfectly timed turn have combined for the perfect arm-fold that resulted in what will no doubt the highlight of Cameroon's 2014 World Cup experience:

And it's worth noting Joe Hart's technique, which was no doubt perfect in all of those crap commercials he stars in.
