William Gallas Claims That Samir Nasri Planned To Have Him Tasered

As hard as may be to imagine, Samir Nasri and William Gallas did not exactly see eye-to-eye. The pair fell out on international duty, with Nasri suspecting that his omission from the 2010 World Cup squad was a result of his falling-out with Gallas.

The pair clashed over Thierry Henry's seat on the team bus, an incident which Nasri sketches out vaguely in this interview with the Mail from 2011:

I had a problem with William Gallas. I had an argument with Thierry (Henry) about a seat on the team bus. But after that with Thierry it was cool. We had a misunderstanding.

But, yes, I had a problem with Gallas. I will not say hello to him again. Against Tottenham we did not speak. For a year at Arsenal we did not speak. Maybe, because he was the second captain of the national team, he had something to do with that.

The pair didn't talk for about a year at Arsenal before Gallas made the move to Spurs.

Earlier this week, Gallas appeared on French Television channel RMC and discussed his relationship with Nasri. The conversation then took a pretty dark turn, as Gallas recalled of how he feared that Nasri planned to have him tasered back in 2009.

Here are the quotes:

What you need to know is that I was staying at a hotel with my family.

I was with my cousins for a meal, it was the eve of a gathering of the French team. At the end of the meal I went out of the hotel and some people approached me and wanted to talk to me.

Initially I did not want to and then I recognised a person who was often with Samir (Nasri) at the Arsenal training ground.

A few days before we had had an altercation about comments that he made about me and I did not like them.

This person wanted us to talk and wanted me to see Samir, who was in a car further away so I got ready to follow him - but my cousin, who is a policeman, told me in creole not to follow him.

At the same time, I glanced inside and I saw someone crouched down with a bag. In the bag, there were Tasers. I didn't know why.

But luckily I was with people that day, because I do not know what could have happened.

You can watch the clip below. Even if you don't speak French, it is worth it for the stunned reactions of Lebeouf and Petit.
