When the big clubs in Sweden clash, shit tends to hit the fan.
It is becoming a bigger and bigger problem for a country that is so advanced in many different areas of society, but when fans of the best-supported teams in the land have to play each other, they just can't seem to control themselves.
Evidence of this can be seen in the ridiculous scenes that saw IFK Goteborg vs Malmo temporarily suspended.
Malmo player Tobias Sana was warming up near the Goteborg supporters, so they decided to throw a banger at him. Sana, justifiably, was enraged by the blatant disregard of his safety and responded by fecking a corner flag into the crowd like a javelin...
When your own team's players are screaming at you to behave yourselves, you should probably cop on.
Goteburg will surely be punished for their fans' behaviour, but Sana will also likely be punished. While we can't blame him for reacting that way after having a lit firework thrown at his feet, the Swedish FA are not going to like his reaction, although Sweden's Olympic committee may take an interest, the throw displayed textbook form.
