In what was quite possibly the most bizarre statement to be ever released by any football club. Bray Wanderers announced that, while they have the ambitions to be as big as FC Barcelona, they're being held back by Wicklow County Council, labeling them (hilariously) 'the North Korea of Ireland for business.'
This evening, a presumably perplexed Wicklow County Council has fired back at the seaside club.
Wicklow County Council would reject any suggestion that the county is anything other than an excellent place to do business and where enterprise is welcomed and encouraged.

This may not be the last we here of this bonkers dispute. We eagerly await the club's response.
Here is the Bray Wanderers statement in full, along with a good old giggle from Keith Buckley, a current Wanderers player.
