Why you should cut back trees around your football pitch

Picture the scene. It's the non-stop, total action, edge of your seat world of Argentinian C Local League, and Libertad De Charata striker Gorostio has taken a shot. The ball hits the crossbar and supposedly goes out of play, before hitting a tree and landing back on the pitch. The defender, Marcelo Escobar then catches the ball, expecting a goal kick. The referee however has not seen the ball hit the tree and awards a penalty to Libertad De Charata.

Alas, poor San Lorenzo concede a goal, but it was the tree that was the 'root' of the problem. We would also like to apologise as the video quality 'leaves' a lot to be desired.
