The versatility of the Armenian will see him become a big part of Jose Mourinho's Manchester United. With the ability to play almost anywhere across the attacking line, and indeed in midfield - the 27-year-old relatively modest fee of £26 million could prove to be a bargain.
He will likely operate on the right wing when he does join United, but he could also be handed a more central role - especially with it becoming more and more likely that Wayne Rooney's future rests in a deep-lying midfield role.

Currently playing his trade with Bundesliga side, Borrussia Dortmund - joining from Shaktar Donetsk in 2013. Drafted in as a replacement for the outgoing Mario Gotze, Mkhitaryan has gone on to score 40 goals since donning the yellow and black of Dortmund.
Now 27-year-old, Mkhitaryan was handed the Armenian national team captaincy in 2013. He his Armenia's all-time leading goalscorer, with 19 goals in his 59 appearances.
