Liverpool vs PSG Team News
Liverpool have one injury concern heading into the tie, with Roberto Firmino's eye injury against Tottenham making the forward a doubt to make the squad. In Monday's press conference Jurgen Klopp stated that Firmino will be close to full fitness by the time the game is taking place, but that it is unclear whether the Brazilian will be declared fit to start against Thomas Tuchel's side.
Dejan Lovren is still out with a stomach problem and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain continues his rehabilitation following knee ligament surgery last season. England U21 player Rhian Brewster is sidelined until December with an ankle injury.
PSG had the luxury of resting two of their big players ahead of the Anfield showdown, with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar both sitting out their sides 4-0 win over St. Etienne on Friday. Marco Verratti and Gianluigi both miss out due to suspension.
Brazil full back Dani Alves is also out with a cruciate injury, and Layvin Kurzawa also misses out following back surgery.
