After waiting 30 years - and one lockdown - to win the Premier League title, Liverpool fans have been savouring their side's Premier League title success. But the reality of a new Premier League season is coming thick and fast for Jurgen Klopp as the Premier League will be kicking off again soon. If you are wondering about the Premier League return or when is the Community Shield, we've got all the info you need.
When Does The New Premier League Season Begin?
The new season is set to kick off on September 12. The Premier League announced the date back at a meeting last month when their shareholders agreed to start on the date.
Premier League Shareholders today agreed to start the 2020/21 #PL season on 12 September

The start date means that the Premier League is set to return just three weeks after the 2019-20 Champions League final. UEFA has also scheduled two Nation League ties for European Countries just one week before the start date. So players could be looking a little leggy on the first weekend of the season.
When Is The Community Shield Taking Place?
Ah yes, the Community Shield. The trophy both managers and fans claim is a real trophy when they win it but when they lose it, it's just a glorified friendly. This year the season opener will be between FA Cup winners Arsenal Vs Premier League Champions Liverpool on August 29.
When will Premier League 2020-21 fixtures be released?
Premier League fixtures are usually announced one or two months before the season kicks off so we should be expecting to get a list of fixtures sometime soon. In the UK, Yorkshire Live claims that the fixtures for all four divisions in England will be released on Friday, August 21.
This sounds about right from what has happened in previous years. But expect to see some movement in the fixture list early on as games get moved about to suit broadcasters.
When's the Final Day of The Premier League?
The action hasn't even begun but yet we want to know when it will end. The Premier League is currently set to end on May 23 2021. Unless something crazy like a global pandemic happens....
How Many Subs Will Be Allowed?
The 20/21 season was set to be a unique season following IFAB's decision to continue to allow five subs for each team for the upcoming season. However, Premier League subs have decided to revert back to the usual three sub system for the 2020-21 season.
