What The Thought Of An Oncoming James McClean (And A Crap Pitch) Did To Mertesacker's Ankle

Admitted - it's a bit of a stretch to attribute Mertesacker's bruised and damaged ankle to the vague presence of James McClean, but I've watched the clip of McClean's goal on Saturday about 50 times and I have no other explanation for Mertesacker's collapse, beyond a mucky pitch.
