What The Premier League Table Would Have Looked Like If Shots That Hit The Post Went In

These kind of exercises are heavy on the hypothetical (as the great Liam Brady once so eloquently put it, "If my granny had balls, she'd be my granddad") but it's interesting to see what the Premier League table would have looked like if shots that hit the post went in. Liverpool it seems  are still struggling with composure in front of goal, while Spurs can count themselves very unlucky that one of their 17 shots that hit the post this season didn't help them pick up the extra point they required to achieve Champions League football. Most of the other clubs end up in positions which more or less reflect their actual final placings, with the exceptions of Stoke and Newcastle, suggesting the former were unlucky to get drawn into a relegation battle and the latter were equally lucky to survive.
