It has been revealed that Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers' infamous envelopes never had any names written on them.
The Northern Irishman's pre-season speech in the documentary 'Being Liverpool' said that these three envelopes contained the names of players who were going to let him down in the 2012/13 season.
However, in an interview with ESPN, the sinister Reds' boss stated for the record that there were never any names written down.
"Which names were in the envelopes?" I ask.
"There were no names," he says with a wry chuckle. "There were no names."
Nicely played Brendan, although it is believed that this method was something used by 'The Godfather' of the Premier League Sir Alex Ferguson.
