West Ham striker Diafra Sakho was reportedly arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman just three days before he played 89 minutes of the Hammers win over Arsenal on Saturday.
The Daily Mail report that the 25-year-old was arrested at his home in Hornchurch on Thursday on suspicion of three counts, they are common assault, criminal damage and malicious communication.
The Senegal international was bailed on the same day and played virtually the whole game in the 2-0 win away to Arsenal. The striker has scored 10 goals in 24 appearances for West Ham.
Sakho signed for the Hammers last year after a £3.5m move from French side Metz. The Hammers declined to comment on the allegations and the striker is bailed until the end of September.
