Throw your mind back to this time last year, to a West Ham lap of honour.
West Ham said goodbye to Upton Park with a ludicrously glitzy ceremony after a pulsating victory over Manchester United. West Ham owner David Sullivan made his fortune by making porn films, but last year's farewell to Upton Park the Boleyn Ground may be his gaudiest and most needlessly long production yet.
Fast-forward a year, and West Ham have endured a miserable season in the London Stadium: they are 12th, with just 42 points, and have won just seven times at their new home this season. Only five teams have a worse home record this season.
The latest home game ended with an insipid 4-0 defeat to Liverpool, in which the vim and vigour that marked their shock win over Spurs last weekend was notably absent.
Disgruntled fans were in no mood to hang around after the game, and this image speaks volumes:

Absurdly, the West Ham players re-emerged from the tunnel after the game for an incredibly sad lap of "honour". There were very few fans left to greet them:
West Ham's players coming back out here to do a lap of honour in front of a few hundred fans. The other 56,000 have got off.

Darren Lewis of the Mirror took a video of the entire, doleful affair:
As you'd expect, not all of the West Ham players fancied a lap of honour to a 90percent empty stadium after a 0-4 stuffing by Liverpool. pic.twitter.com/64wciCfuNL

Mortifying.
