Norwich have ambitions to return to the Premier League as quickly as possible.
If they are to do that, Wes Hoolahan is going to be key.
With that in mind, Norwich have put at ease any worries Hoolahan may have had about his club future. The 34-year-old has signed a new deal which will keep him at Carrow Road until at least 2018.

By the time that deal runs out, Hoolahan will have been a Norwich player for ten years.
Manager Alex Neil, speaking to the club website, acknowledged how inspirational Hoolahan has been in the past and how important he is going to be in the future.
Wes has always been a special player for us.
More often than not, he’s the one I turn to when I need someone to deliver something for me, and he never really lets me down.
He’s a quality player. We all know his qualities. He’ll be key for us this year.
Hoolahan has been in excellent form for Norwich during the pre-season. He's scored three times, including this super strike against Coventry.
