Wes Hoolahan enjoyed an emotional farewell to Carrow Road on Saturday as Norwich defeated Leeds in their final home game of the season.
It was announced last week that Hoolahan will depart Norwich after a decade at the club in which he played 350 games across the Premier League, Championship and League One.
Hoolahan said goodbye to the home supporters in memorable fashion: he scored an equaliser just before half-time (though there was a massive deflection) and then set up a winner for Josh Murphy 20 minutes from the end.
The Dubliner was substituted to rapturous applause with five minutes remaining. Tears were undoubtedly shed not just in those moments but also after the game.
Speaking after the match alongside club majority shareholder Delia Smith, a tearful Hoolahan thanked everyone who had been involved in the farewell.
The 35-year-old's love for the club and the supporters for him was clear at the weekend.
If you haven’t shed a tear yet...this should do the trick!
