The dreaded transfer window is about to be prised open and the word is that Wee Stevie Naismith - the man who terrorised Ireland during that dark night in Glasgow (thankfully, seems a long time ago now) - looks to be on the move.
The Guardian's Dominic Fifield reports that he is set to leave one Irish enclosure for another, joining Norwich City from Everton for £8m.
Naismith has played only four games this season, scoring a hat-trick against Chelsea in September, an achievement which looked impressive at the time.
Norwich tried to claim him in the summer but Martinez insisted that he was too important to Everton at that stage. His increasing unimportance at Goodison Park has paved the way for the move.
It's been a busy time for Norwich City after picking up free agent - recently of the House of Commons - Ed Balls earlier this month. The former shadow chancellor, advisor to Gordon Brown described Norwich City and author of the most famous tweet in politics says Norwich City is the best community football club in the world.
