Around 25 minutes into the Ireland-Springboks match last night, we started to receive a lot of questions seek information on the Springboks physio. She was also something of a cause celebre among Irish rugby fans on Twitter, with some likening her to a South African Eva Carneiro.

Never a news organisation to leave our readers in the dark, we done some research on said physio this morning. Her name is Rene Naylor. She has been the head physiotherapist for the Springboks since 2008. According to her website, she is "a highly-skilled sports physiotherapist with over 17 years experience." She's also the physio for the Dutch cricket team.

Naylor earned the ardour of Southern Hemisphere rugby supporters this summer when part of her red thong was caught on camera while she was hard at work during the Boks-Argentina match.

Here's a photo of Naylor doing her thing on Tendai Mtawarira during the Springboks visit to the Aviva in 2010.
