We're not sure what's happening, but Barcelona are being linked with some absolute howlers in the transfer market. First it was Hatem Ben Arfa, but rightly the Spanish giants ignored that and focused on signing French defenders Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne.
Now though, they are the unfortunate subject of the transfer bullshit rumour of the day. According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Manchester United flop Memphis Depay is the next target for Luis Enrique. Apparently Barcelona don't think Arda Turan is bad enough, and want the Dutch winger to replace him.
Depay cost United £25 million last summer, but Barcelona are about to donate nearly £17 million to the richest club in the world for a player they really don't need.
This is one of those transfer rumours that doesn't make sense on any level. It's not going to happen.
