Neymar has truly established himself as the king of South America after leading Brazil to Confederations Cup glory. He has become by far the most popular name in La Paz, Bolivia according to the city's civil registry office. Local paper La Razon reports that an impressive two out of every ten babies have been named after the Seleção star.
If the civil registry office is to believed, Bolivia isn't that far away from having a whole country of men named after the former Santos wunderkind.
"We believe that in 17 years most adult males will be called Neymar because that is the current trend," civil registry office representative Remigio Condori stated. "It is the name in fashion right now."
