Having failed to organise segregation in anyway effectively during the England/Russia game in Marseille, resulting in a gang of Russian thugs charging English fans after the final whistle, UEFA announced sanctions against the Russian FA.
UEFA charged Russian fans with crowd disturbances, racist chanting and the setting off of a flare. The punishment was a fine of €150,000 along with a "disqualification suspended until the end of the tournament". UEFA have said that the disqualification will be enforced if "incidents of a similar nature (crowd disturbances) happen inside the stadium at any of the matches of the Russian team during the tournament".
We are about to see how serious UEFA are about their punishment, as today's game between Russia and Slovakia, as a flare was let off among the Russian supporters following their goal:

The excellent Dave Phillips has pointed out that the setting off of flares is prohibited by UEFA, and falls under the governing body's definition of "crowd disturbances":
UEFA's own "case law" suggests that "crowd disturbances" are any of the offences in Art 16(2) Disciplinary Regs. pic.twitter.com/MCVfnOnCRD
