Wayne Rooney Apologises For Breaking A Kid's Wrist Before Last Sunday's Match

Lots of apologies doing the rounds today. Rooney has spent the week grovelling to the child he injured with a wayward shot during United's warm up before their match against Wolves.

Nine-year-old Jason Thomas suffered a broken wrist, but that didn't distract him in efforts to get Rooney to come over and talk to him. Listen out for the Dad encouraging him to hold in face so that Wayne would run to his aid.

After staying on to watch the first half of the match, the young lad then decided that maybe it was time to go get his arm looked about. Rooney has promised Jason a signed shirt, and he has been invited to watch a United training session, when he's feeling better.
