Fans of football manager will be excited that another promising talent could be joining the Premier League, but it's not one of the big clubs who appear to be making a huge signing. According to reports in Italy, Watford will make a splash in January, bringing in Argentine 22-year-old Juan Iturbe on loan with a view to a permanent move.
That's Premier League newboys Watford potentially smashing their current transfer record of £6.6 million by maybe spending up to €20 million on one player. This is a player that Roma spent €22 million on just two years ago to replace Erik Lamela, and is another Argentine youngster who has been compared to Lionel Messi.

It almost doesn't matter if Iturbe doesn't turn out to be the next Messi, it's certainly a major coup for Watford as they continue their impressive first season back in the top flight and potentially push for Europe. He should be a massive addition to both Watford and the Premier League, and will be a thrill to watch against defences. Looks like this will be a great bit of business from Watford, especially as they'll be able to test out how Iturbe adapts to the Premier League for his loan before they spend a lot of money.
What a crazy Premier League season this has been.
