Last night Bohemians secured all three points and the bragging rights for the Dublin Derby with a 2-1 victory against Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght.
Keith Long's side had gone a goal behind before Dan Byrne equalised midway through the second half.

Seems it was corner flag related issues!

Well done to the @gardainfo @GardaTraffic and the Stewarts at @tallaghtstadium who dealt very well with the idiots who decided they would try to ruin a great occasion by fighting in the stand. If we're serious about taking on this issue we to hand out lifetime bans #roversvbohs

It was right by our dug out, three losers walked right up to the netting at the bohs fans, giving it the large one. Actually think they had to walk by a family to get up to there which makes it sadder.

In the aftermath, there were reports of minor scuffles in the crowd, and Bohemians' Keith Ward revealed to RTE Sport there was some trouble while they sourced a replacement flag after one had been damaged during the celebrations.
It was one of those things. We were running over to it and I just kicked it and snapped it in half. Dano (Byrne) got booked for it and I played dumb and asked the ref what happened. I don’t think he knew what happened he just saw it in pieces so Dano can take the yellow for that.
Sorry @ShamrockRovers about the corner flag take it out of our cup final bonus 🔴⚫️

Ward said he wasn't distracted by the trouble, which was quickly dealt with.
I broke the corner flag, they were trying to get a new corner flag, and it kicked off. It’s hard to know if anything kicked off or if it was just handbags, to be fair there seems to always be a bit of a scuffle every now and then but it didn’t seem too serious.
The victory marked the Northside clubs second win over Rovers this season, as Long's faith in his youthful line-up paid dividends.
