Arsenal looked to be heading for their annual disastrous start in the Champions League before rallying to squeeze into the last 16 after they conceded to Edinson Cavani after just 42 seconds, but instead the Gunners left Paris with a very handy point.

A second half equaliser from Alexis Sanchez earned a share of the spoils in Paris, but the match ended in farcical circumstances as both Olivier Giroud and Marco Verratti were given their matching orders for a farcical incident.
Both players will now miss the next round of Champions League fixtures, and when they look back at the incident they should both be embarrassed as they each tried to make a meal out of nothing collisions.
If the ref thought they had both hit each other, questionable decision.

That's what it comes down to, and as this is the type of stuff people hate about football, and modern footballers in particular, we're happy to see them both get told to piss off and grow up.
