A three nil lead is a dangerous one if you're a Liverpool fan. Before their second leg with Manchester City tonight, Jurgen Klopp will have been drilling into his players not to give any cheap goals away. But that is exactly what happened in the 2nd minute when Virgil Van Djik gave away the ball on the left under pressure, and the resulting ball was recycled by City who charged down their right wing with Sterling who crossed to Gabriel Jesus who duly stroked the ball home to give City the lead.
After the goal, Van Djik did protest to the ref that he was fouled by Sterling just before he surrendered possession, but the Dutch defender has to play the whistle in that situation.

The score is poised at 1-0 to with Man City dominating possession, hitting the post as well as having a goal chalked off for offside.
