Barcelona completed the Spanish double with a 2-0 win over Sevilla after extra time in the Copa Del Rey final.
With both sides reduced to 10 men, a cagey affair between the league champions and the buoyant Europa League champions was scoreless at the end of normal time, but Barcelona hit the front with a neat finish from Jordi Alba in the first half of extra time.
The goal, however, was all about the pass from Lionel Messi, who picked the ball up at the edge of the centre circle and changed the game with one languid swing of his left foot.

Despite his devastating efficiency further up the pitch, there's always been something glorious about the 27-year-old Argentine dropping deep and picking an other-worldly pass. On this occasion he found Alba, who netted for the first time this season.
Despite some bluster in the second half of extra time, Sevilla couldn't find their way through the Barcelona rearguard, and a harsh second yellow for Carrico saw them finish the game with nine men. Moments later, Messi wrecked lives once more, turning a pass around the corner for Neymar, who did the rest.

And so the Catalan giants win their second successive Copa - a 28th in total - to cap another hugely successful season. Just the 503 goals and 209 assists for Messi in senior football. Remember when he and Barca were in crisis?
