There is no place in sport for this sort of thing. A fan in Turkey ran onto the pitch and viciously attacked an assistant referee, by punching him in the back and kicking him while he was on the ground.

The match between Trabzonspor and Fenerbache was abandoned after the incident. Riot police were called as it looked like the rest of the fans were about to kick the situation out of control:
