Turkey have spent the first week of Euro 2016 stinking the place out. A limp display against Croatia was blighted by Tufan's belief that nothing should get in the way of looking good, while last night they were pathetic against Spain, standing back to remind the world that the greatest trick Messi, Suarez and Neymar ever pulled was convincing the world that Andrés Iniesta didn't exist. Arda Turan publicly apologised to his people following the 1-0 defeat to Croatia , which was a grave mistake, as it is difficult to know where he can go next: the sound and fury of a displeased Turkish fan is as great as any football supporter across the world.
Such an example is this stupefyingly obnoxious Turkish fan filmed during the Croatia game earlier this week. It is a difficult watch, as he treats his girlfriend with a frightening level of disrespect. She concocted a plan to exact revenge, however, and boy, did it work, ending in the MOTHER of all tantrums.
