You might not even have been aware - or care- that England hosted Turkey in a Euro 2016 warmup earlier this evening, but they won 2-1 as Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy capitalised on Wayne Rooney's absence with a goal apiece.
Kane's goal was a lovely team move which saw him link up with Tottenham teammate Delle Ali at the edge of the Turkish area before slotting past Istanbul Başakşehir goalkeeper Volkan Babacan.
Turkey manager Fatih Terim, however, was having none of it, and took to his phone to confirm the goal was offside. He then handed this evidence to the fourth official, who showed a surprising level of interest in Terim's protestations.

Moments later, however, ITV commentator Clive Tyldesley confirmed that the fourth official had kept Terim's phone to prevent him from using technology to prove further decisions incorrect during the course of the match. We'll give you 1/4 odds that the official in question is also a teacher.
Seems a bit extreme, but also extremely funny. Fair play to Terim for showing a bit of initiative.
