After a couple of years of waiting to get an extended look at him, Ireland supporters will no doubt be looking forward to seeing Troy Parrott at Millwall this season.
The 18-year old has joined the Championship side on loan for the 2020/21 season and is set to get plenty of playing time. Millwall will be hoping that the striker can help fire them to promotion, having just missed out on the play-offs last term.
The early signs have been good. Parrott has impressed in the club's pre-season friendlies, finding the back of the net once again this afternoon.
He came off the bench at halftime to score his side's third in a 3-0 win over Southend United, producing a gorgeous chip to beat the on-rushing goalkeeper.
Troy Parrott is really hitting the ground running at Millwall 👀

Beautiful.
This will be a welcome sight for Ireland supporters, with the Dubliner part of Stephen Kenny's squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures against Bulgaria and Finland.
Parrott is likely to make his competitive debut over those two fixtures, adding to the cap he won against New Zealand last November. If he can carry this form onto the international scene you wouldn't bet against him bagging his first goal for Ireland at senior level.
