After a drab FA Cup semi final yesterday, we had high hopes entering today's clash between Watford and Wolves. It certainly did not disappoint. It was a high octane affair right from the off, with as dramatic an ending as you are likely to see in any big game this season.
With Watford trailing 2-0 with just over 10 minutes to go, they would manage to pull the game back and bring it to extra time. A Gerard Deulofeu goal would seal the result late on, booking a place in the final against Manchester City.
It was a game Wolves will feel they have thrown away, especially considering their strong position in the closing stages. Raul Jimenez thought he had secured the win for his side in the second half, breaking out a Mexican wrestling mask in celebration.

It was not to be though, with Troy Deeney and Deulofeu inspiring their side to get the win.
Speaking after the game, Deeney revealed he had not seen Jimenez's celebration at the time. However, he had a few cruel words to direct at the the Wolves striker.
"I'm glad he put that mask on. He can wear it out as well now he's a loser!"

I genuinely didn't see that until just now. There's a bit of me that wants to say something nasty, but I won't. But I'm glad he put that mask on, he can wear it out as well now that he's a loser. Enjoy the mask, but we got the victory...
Don't get me wrong, he's a top top player. I was him and I think he's very good, he plays the nine position on his own really well.
I didn't see the mask thing, so I'm kind of glad I only seen it now because I probably would have lost head if I saw that. I think you've got to wear the mask and do all that stuff when you know you're going to win the game.
