Watch: Things Got A Bit Heated Between Dunphy and Brady When Trapattoni's Name Was Brought Up

After another topsy-turvy Ireland performance in an important game, the only reliable performers were the lads in the RTÉ Studio.

Everyone was in agreement that Ireland played some awful football for the majority of that match in Belgrade, and were lucky to come away with a point considering how badly we retreated into our shell after we took the lead, but soon Eamon Dunphy and Liam Brady found something to argue about.

While discussing the standard of play, Liam Brady suggested we should not expect much more from this Ireland team, and Dunphy took exception to Brady questioning the manager before he dug up the old chestnut of Wes Hoolahan not being shown enough love under Trap.

Tetchy.

In a game where Darren Randolph was given a strange MOTM award from Ronnie Whelan, it's understandable that the guys were frustrated with what they saw. As for the argument, Wes was certainly unfairly treated by Trap, but that seemed more like a shot at Brady who has been a Trapattoni sympathiser for obvious reasons.

It's not the end of the world, but that was a beatable side and a win would have been the perfect start... But thank God we didn't go and lose.
