There's a game today lads, not sure if you've heard about it.
If RTE ever need to justify the licence fee, they should just publish all of the montages they show before big games involving the national team. The state broadcaster usually do a great job with them, with the pre-Sweden film showing that Conor McGregor can make a decent fist of filling Tom McGurk's capacious, narrating shoes.
Ahead of the Belgian game, RTE have captured the mood perfectly. The title is 'Easy to Fall in Love', a reference to the Little Green Cars song, and is set to replays of Wes Hoolahan's goal against the Swede. When they put it like this, it is pretty easy to fall for the most irrational of loves: football. Let's turn things up to eleven...
Superb.
As the video makes clear, the result against Belgium won't change how you get up in the morning, go to work, or do your job.
All it can change is your life.
COYBIG.
