With just over 10 minutes of extra time remaining in the FA Cup final, substitute and academy product Jesse Lingard let rip for the 10 men of Manchester United.

Lingard had replaced Juan Mata, who himself had pulled United level three minutes after Jason Puncheon's near-post finish. All in all, it was an entertaining game - even if it threatened to be remembered for far more disturbing reasons until Lingard found the net with a scorcher.

Thankfully, the 23-year-old from Warrington pounced on a headed clearance and gave the game a fitting ending, almost ripping the net in the process, too. You'll rarely see a cleaner-struck volley.
