Portugal's bid to outstrip Ireland at Italia '90 by getting as far as they can without winning a game in normal time is going swimmingly well, as they've reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016 following three group stage draws, one extra-time win against Croatia, and now this: a penalty shoot-out victory over Poland.
The first-half of the game was genuinely quite good: Poland led from the second minute through Robert Lewandowski, before Portugal equalised through a Renato Sanches howitzer. From there, Poland decided to play for penalties, which they eventually got, via one of the drabbest games in the history of the tournament.
