Stiliyan Petrov is an incredibly inspirational man. Having been diagnosed with acute leukaemia and battling though it to be given the all clear, it is fantastic to see him back in the public eye.
Last week Petrov was a guest on 'Russell Howard's Good News' where the former Celtic and Aston Villa star was quizzed by comedian Russell Howard (obviously) on a range of different topics such as his return to football, his favourite ever player, and a hilarious former fear that the Bulgarian international carried with him as a child.
It makes for great viewing.
The discussion on his participation in Sunday League football in particular is fantastic, as Petrov shows his true love of the game by stating "I feel alive again" when asked what it does for him.
Fair play, Stiliyan.
