Watch: Stephen Quinn Warms Up For Italy By Taking One Where It Hurts

Reading midfielder Stephen Quinn is tipped to start the biggest match of his professional career tomorrow if, as expected, Martin O'Neill shuffles his deck ahead of the clash with the Italians.

Hopefully though Quinn will have had access to an ice-bag before then after taking a pretty painful shot to the balls from Glenn Whelan in training this morning - and the intrepid FAI social media guru was of course on hand to upload Quinn's misfortune to Instagram for the world to see.

Where does this rank on the football in the groin pain-o-meter? Well, it's not quite as bad as Robbie Brady's eye-wateringly painful block against Portugal at the weekend but perhaps slightly worse than Hans Moleman's award winning film 'Football In the Groin'.
