After initially attacking the Lyon players in the warm-up, Bastia did it again at half-time and as a result the match has been abandoned. Below you will find footage of the first incident, and then the second at half time.

Lyon players, more than anyone else, must be thinking the world has gone absolutely mad.

After the frustrating crowd trouble that saw their Europa League clash with Besiktas delayed, Lyon travelled to Bastia on Sunday hoping for return to normality.

Instead, it appears that they have been attacked by the home fans who stormed onto the pitch during the warm-up.

Footage appears to show an altercation between one of the Bastia "ultras" and Memphis Depay, which quickly escalated into a very worrying situation. Kicks and punches were thrown, as the Lyon players were rushed back into the changing rooms.

The Lyon players initially refused to play the match, which is understandable, but soon emerged to warm up again.
