Having been on our screens for many years you would expect that we would know a lot about Mark Clattenburg, but as it turns out we hardly knew anything about him judging by the reaction to the way his voice sounds.
Howard Webb was the resident former referee on BT until March 2017 when he became the Manager of Video Assistant Referee Operations for Major League Soccer's Professional Referee Organisation and BT have replaced him with none other than Mark Clattenburg.
Clattenburg was called upon to form an opinion at half time of the Community Shield match between Arsenal and Chelsea where Chelsea midfielder Willian was booked for simulation in the box.
However, Twitter was shocked to hear what the former Premier League referee's voice sounded like and they took to the platform in their droves to voice their opinion.
In all fairness to the public, Clattenburg's voice is hardly the most authoritative that you will ever hear, but then again he did referee in the 2016 Champions League and European Championship finals.
Watch and listen to Clattenburg's opinion on the Willian yellow card.
Here is some of the Twitter reaction to Mark Clattenburg's appearance on our screens earlier today,
No wonder Mark Clattenburg always gave everything against us, he's a fucking Geordie 😂😂

I don't know what I was expecting Mark Clattenburg to sound like, but it was nothing like that.
