Sheffield United produced somewhat of a defensive masterclass at the weekend as they stole a 2-0 win away to an incredibly blunt Everton. Despite the win, Chris Wilder branded it one of their worst perfomances of the season and with Everton enjoying 70% of possession, United's good old fashioned rearguard action saw them over the line.
Leading the resistance was John Egan. So much so, in fact, that the club tweeted out some highlights of his best moments, i.e. bate'n into lads and diving in front of oncoming shots.

Meanwhile his Irish teammate, Enda Stevens, was not only doing a decent job defensively but upon United's rare forays up the pitch he decided to make the most of life and use the opportunity to nutmeg his international captain, Seamus Coleman.
Another one to add to the folder...

Of course, Stevens has previous with this sort of thing.

Unfortunately we won't have Stevens for the Georgia game next month because of suspension but Egan is surely putting ever more pressure on Mick McCarthy to promote him to a starting-berth.
