Credit where it's due, Three's 'Call Up' campaign is a wonderful idea that is allowing some young Irish fans to meet their heroes before they get to lead Ireland out at the Aviva Stadium.
We saw Darren Randolph make a young goalkeeper's day earlier in the qualification campaign, and ahead of the Serbia clash on Tuesday, it was Shane Long who has done similar for a little girl who thinks the world of him.
Chloe Brennan's mum entered a competition to see her daughter win the chance to be Ireland mascot, and as she was the lucky one picked she also got to meet Shane Long in the Ireland team hotel. The results were adorable, and the term 'speechless' has never been more appropriate.

How can you not love Shane Long? Just such a lovely bloke.
The poor thing didn't know how to react, but she will keep that memory with her forever so fair play to all involved for making it happen. Hopefully Chloe is good luck against Serbia and Long can get us a goal on the night now.
