Edin Dzeko sent Roma through in the Champions League tonight, as they secured a 1-0 win against Shakhtar Donetsk to go through on away goals. The tie finished 2-2 on aggregate.
Ivan Ordets was sent off late in the tie for hacking down Dzeko, but it was Facundo Ferreyra who met the bulk of Roma's rage as he appeared to bundle a ballboy over the advertising hoarding in the process of recovering the ball.

The incident instigated a mass melee and Ferreyra was given a yellow card. Regardless, Shakhtar bowed out of Europe as Roma progressed to join Sevilla, who beat Man United in tonight's other game, in the quarter-finals. It is Roma's first time in ten years reaching this stage.
