Well that didn't take long!
In what was one of the most Irish matches English football has ever seen, former Cork City striker (and current League of Ireland top goalscorer) Seanie Maguire has managed to find the net on his debut for Preston North End.
Maguire was introduced as a second-half substitute with his side trailing 2-0 after Cork's own Kevin Long had put the Clarets ahead earlier in the match, and soon he had the crowd off their feet at Deepdale.
Seanie picked up the ball just inside the opposition half after a cracking tackle by Eoin Doyle, and jinked his way into the box before poking past Tom Heaton in the Burnley goal. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.
Such a tidy finish!
First impressions are important, and Maguire has just made about as good a first impression as possible.
