Aston Villa overcame Reading 3-0 tonight with both Scott Hogan and Conor Hourihane on the scoresheet as they continue their drive towards promotion.
The result leaves Steve Bruce's side third in the table. Reading started brightly but had David Edwards sent off after half an hour and the floodgates opened in the second half as Hourihane and Hogan grabbed goals.

Hogan and Hourihane were both involved in the recent Republic of Ireland squad as the pair continue to thrive at Aston Villa. After a rocky start, Hogan has slowly fought his way into the team and started to score goals. Hourihane has been a regular in the heart of the Villa midfield.
